FARGO – Alex Stern Family Foundation awards grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of The Village Family Service Center to empower youth in the Fargo-Moorhead Community. These funds will allow BBBS to continue our mission.
Big Brothers Big Sisters matches kids ages 6 to 14 with volunteer “Bigs” who spend about four hours a month with their “Little,” either at the child’s school or doing activities in the community. These relationships result in higher self-esteem, better academic performance, and improved relationships for the children.
These funds will allow Big Brother Big Sisters to continue their mission. BBBS is thankful for the ongoing support from Alex Stern Family Foundation.
